Charles E. Trefurt School (PS #8) is a four-story, 169,196 square foot building originally built in 1950. Spaces include classrooms, gymnasium, auditorium, offices, cafeteria, corridors, stairwells, hallways, kitchen, and mechanical spaces. The building has a main wing and new wing. Recent improvements include: Installation of solar panels on the roof.
