Middle School
Academy 1 Middle School is a three-story, 64,884 square foot building built in 1966. Spaces include classrooms, conference rooms, gymnasium, locker rooms, restrooms, dining area, offices, storage rooms, teacher’s lounge, corridors, stairwells, kitchen, and basement mechanical space. The facility has all electric equipment throughout the building including all the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment. There is a gas meter serving the building; however, we were provided no record of historical usage. The facility has a solar array that covers most of the rooftop of the building and produces approximately 72,000 kWh of electricity annually.
