School
Alfred Zampella School (PS#27) is a 4-story, 94,611 square foot building built in 1966. Spaces include classrooms, a gymnasium, a natatorium, electrical rooms, a kitchen, a library, offices, corridors, stairwells, ballrooms, storage rooms, restrooms, basement mechanical space and teachers’ lounges. The facility has all-electric equipment throughout the building, including the HVAC equipment. At the time of the audit, the indoor swimming pool was empty and associated equipment was disconnected.
