Henry Snyder High School is a 5-story 187,500 square foot building located in the Greenville section of Jersey City. The building was built in 1924 and includes spaces such as classrooms, administrative offices, gymnasiums, locker rooms, auditorium, library, kitchens, cafeteria, conference rooms, corridors, lobbies, restrooms, storage, and mechanical spaces. The school has 2 large boilers providing heat, and 3 air handling units (AHUs) and 2 chillers on the roof each serving different spaces within the school.

Replace existing lighting with new LED Lighting

Renovate older roofing and realize new 15 year warranty

Replace existing pneumatic controls with new open-protocol controls

Address schools that do not currently have classroom ventilation systems

Generate electricity on site for cost savings

Improve existing pipe insulation to prevent heat loss and save energy
